Didn't regret buying any of them. When it's my favourite franchises I just by straight away as I can't wait for them :) bought a vita and 3ds day one also. Regretted the 3ds early on and gave it to my brother who's enjoying it a lot now. Vita I'm totally happy with and play it every day, even more than ps3 right now.

about 20 odd games at full price. i only buy games i really look forward at full prices. notable games include red dead redemption, AC brotherhood, uncharted 3 and new super mario bros. wii

I'm a "Day 1" kind of guy, so the majority of the games I bought this generation were Day 1 full price purchases.

1) Fat Princess :D
2) Batman Arkham Asylum - Got a great deal on launch day. Great game.
3) Uncharted 2 - I just got PS3 and this made it worth it.
3) Modern Warfare 2 - One of the best marketing campaigns for a game. The trailers give me chills. Loved it.
4) Modern Warefare 3 - They finished the story. I mean who does that. Multiplayer is more refined.
5) Uncharted 3 - Awesomeness

These are it. Didn't pay full retail for any of them. Always good to look for preorder discounts and sales. Cheers

now i usually wait for the sales or craigslist there usually on a week or 2 after release, you can get new releases for $40 and most of the time i buy during the fall so i would wait for black friday where they also go for 40 and below

i dont have many games that i'll buy day 1 so far for the rest of this gen my plan is to get these day 1 max payne 3, gta5, maybe re6, and maybe the last of us. theres a few i'll wait a few weeks to get at 40 and below like spec ops the line, black ops 2, new tomb raider, and crysis 3

All the main PS3 exlusives Uncharted, Littlebigplanet, god of war, heavy rain, MAG, resistance, Killzone, Modnation Racers etc.I usually wait for multi platform games to drop down to 30-35 range on amazon which usually happens within a few weeks.
