My PSN is Tridrakious. I will be getting this game day one.

I want to see some Legend of Dragoon characters announced for the title. I'm also thinking Sony will work to get DLC packs that feature third party characters.

Cloud, and Seph will be in the game from the beginning...possibly Sora and Riku, Solid Snake/Old Snake and Liquid Snake would be good bets to have in the disc version. Crash and Spyro should be in this game from the very beginning.

However those are the only third party characters I believe will be in on day one.

Ill almost definitely be buying it, along with one or 2 of my buds.

Kind of off topic...I think their decision for 4 of the 6 characters they revealed was unwise. Kratos and Sly were great decisions, bc they're both popular PS characters.

Having Parappa and Fat Princess were great ideas, and they actually look pretty fun to play; but having them as initial reveals was a poor call, since they're not popular, big name PS characters. Most people probably wont even know who they are.

Sweet Tooth is an okay choice, and his move set looks pretty cool, but again, as an initial reveal..he's not one of the loveable, admirable PS characters; he's a brutal murderer. He's also not even that popular either in terms of the general audience.

Radec is the only character who I think was a poor choice altogether. Barely anyone will even know who he is, but worst of all is that he has no future. He's dead, so this game wont make him more popular in preparation for future appearances.

Sony needed to put all (or at least mostly) top tier popular PS characters in the reveal since it was everyone's first impression of the game. Its the major reason some sites like GT were making fun of Sony that they don't have many good or memorable characters to make a game like this.

Am i the only one who thought this?

Anyways, character choice aside, this game looks fantastic.

I disagree about sweet tooth for two reasons

1. he is a VERY well known charcter in the history of PS and has a good fan following

2. it was already leaked he was gonna be in it lol so might as well

as for Radec, a Helghan was gonna be in it for certain..so I guess they just chose to go with a big honcho instead of the regular soldier

this is just a teaser of sorts of the character roster. I'm sure they are leaving the big reveal until E3 :)

Oh, and as for possible 3rd party characters, I was reminded today that Sony nabbed 5 exclusive characters in Street Fighter X Tekken...including Capcom's own Mega Man and Pac Man. This could be interesting.

I think that's a pretty good third party list. I would love to see an ubisoft pack (rayman, Ezio, Prince of PErsia), a capcom pack (Megaman, dante, viewtiful joe), or a Square Enix pack (Cloud, Adam Jensen, Tidus, or something, maybe a moogle or chocobo)

the possibilities are endless. I know I'd play as a chocobo, they fly, they peck, they kick, they move fast!

Hell yeah I'll be buying this!

Announce a Collector's Edition and I'll pre order that shit rightaway Day 1 Buy.

Some fantastic mentions here Runa. Absolute must-haves imo are Snake (I'll revolt if he's not in here), Chris and/or Leon, a Final Fantasy character or 3, Ezio/Altair, Batman (amazing idea - this would be huge!), Crash Bandicoot, and one of the Portal dudes. Gordon Freeman and Rayman would be great additions as well. 

Never saw this posted or discussed in any of the PSASBR threads, but I think this was definitely purposeful, used as direct foreshadowing for PSASBR. So if this is to be believed, for 3rd party characters/games making an appearance in PSASBR we should have Solid Snake, Portal 2, Assassins Creed, Dead Space, Modern Warfare, Final Fantasy, Bioshock, and I think Hitman? (Is that the back of his bald head?) Any I missed?
