^Nah it's not a waste. Having multiple attack skills equipped improves the chances of having any given attack skill go off on each attack. Also having Lethality go off instead one of the others isn't a bad thing at alls.

Meh I'd rather have another skill than "increased chance of a activation skill going off"
And sometimes I'm going to want the healing from Sol/Aether over the damage of Astra/Lethality, and vice versa.
i got the free DLC and played it today. I found it disappointing. Ike was created with the character creation available to the player at the start and used a generic soldier outfit. Was really annoyed about that. Its half-assed DLC that isnt in the same level as the main game. It put me off from buying anything else.

Eh, to each their own. :)
That's why I went with the Sol/Lethality pairing, so that Sol will still be going off most of the time like it would be normally, as in without additional attack skills. Lethality will still pop up every now and then, again just like it normally would. Also, there may be some characters that you may aswell use multiple attack skills with since they don't have anything better, like Olivia and Say'Ri on my streetpass team (cause Galeforce is unnecessary here).

Astra AND Lethality AND Aether? Waste. Plus Indigo can't learn Aether, Chrom only passes Rightful King to sons, Aether to daughters. Lucina - Aether, Rightful King, Vantage, Aegis, Swordfaire Indigo - Sol, Rightful King, Vantage, Armshift, Swordfaire/Axefaire

Thanks for the input - those look like good builds - I mainly want a team that will beat my friend who literally grinded for 150 hours to create and unbeatable streetpass team
Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Does his team use limit breaker? If so you can replace any of the faire skills with Limit Breaker.

Neither of us have that DLC yet but if he gets it then I'll be forced to
