How would cutting off a profitable revenue stream, help increase profits. 

Also you do realise Music Unlimited doesnt actually sell Music? Its just a streaming service for subscribers.

Im sure they will start doing limited exclusive periods on there own content on there own services, but there never gonna stop selling there labels through as many retailers as possible. 

I mean as an artist would you sign with Sony if they were going to limite your album to a no name streaming service/

vita low sales won 't help the company
and a price-cut to it may lead to another loss
if sony wants to make money from ps vita only 3rd party companies can help as they did with ps3
as for the price they can cut its price in 2 years and later

Cuts are coming clearly, but not from the profitable branches of the company like Playstation. This will not affect PS4, it probably will affect Bravia

The PlayStation business is doing pretty good, thats why Kaz got promoted, its the toxic TV division that makes Sony losing money.

How high is the king fallen when it needs to use Samsung panels, once a cheap brand 10 years ago. Sony was the innovator, investing heavily in OLED screens and bringing the first OLED tv 4 years ago, now Samsung and LG will release the first big OLED tvs while Sony is always wasting its time a newer technology without exploiting the former, they're already talking about Crystal LED. If they only just go with OLED along with Samsung and LG.

Yeah, those are most important.

But I think the bonuses are safe, especially since they'll save a lot by axing 10k positions.
