After voting up 12 monkeys in Spurges 90's movie elimination thread I had to watch it. Got a copy at Asda for 3 quid. Great film. Watched it last night. Tonight I shall watch Kick Ass.

Watch this movie, it is like 300 with Owls. Trust me it is great.

No I have not. I almost did because I thought it was an Evil Dead knockoff, but then I saw the trailer. Still want to because I hear it is really good, but have not yet. Why? Is it really good?

I am downloading it right. This is what Jeremy Jahns says of it.

I remember 12 monkeys being an incredible brain scratcher when I watched it. Probably wasn't paying full attention

I was about 13 when i first saw it. Didnt really have a clue what was going on but still thaught it was a cool film. I had to get my older brother to explain it to me.

12 monkeys is a great film
it makes you doubt

Today ive watched Event horizon, great movie, specially if you watch it at night, reminder of the Hellraiser series

A friend treated my girlfriend and I for movies, but we had to watch Total Recall. It's an interesting reimagining of the movie but nothing that warrants any excitement.

I hated 12 Monkeys

I just watched the Hunger games on blu-ray. It was ok, I kinda expected more after all the hype around the theatrical release. It skipped over a lot of back story (Why are they hungry if they live next to a lush forested area? And what is all this district stuff anyway) and dragged in other places. The surround sound design was the best part of the movie, the hallucination scene and ear ringing effect especially stood out.
The visuals could have been better, the shaky camera work and low contrast scenes did not do the artwork justice.

Tonight I re watched Superbad. Great film IMO. Also some great news. Whilst I was searching throuh my DVD's I was happy to discover that I do own a copy of Army of Darkness. Happy days. Gonna watch that tomorrow.
