I might be able to go see it (The Avengers) this Friday! Quite excited. Looks like an enjoyable movie!

There should never ever be a remake of The Evil Dead. The second film was essentially a remake why do another one. Also it will be a crime if Bruce Campbell didn't appear in it.

The Avengers opened up HUUUUGE! I can't wait to see it, seems like a great movie. Possibly earned that over 80Million Opening!

It was over a 200 million opening.

Isn't that WW though? I was talking about USA only.

I just picked up Pippi Longstocking

Batman "Subzero"

Donkey Kong and Diddy kong Island video

Some Errol Flynn video.

Avengers was great people! Do not be so serious when you go see it and you will all love it! The Lorax was a piece of straight ass garbage! That has no meaning what I just said, and neither does the Lorax.

Was the Lorax really that bad.  Oh well at least it made enough money so that they are going to make a computer animated reboot of The Cat in the Hat.  The live action version was truely bad.  The worst Mike Myers movie ever I rather watch The Love  Guru again even though its only slightly better.

No that is just America. World wide it is at around 700 million already I think.

$654.8 million world wide according to box office mojo and wikipedia.

Yeah I took certain liberties since I do not believe that 654 million is including monday or tuesday yet. Still it was a lot! Did you see it?

No its been years since I saw a movie at the theaters usally takes me a while to see newer releases.  Finally watched the remake of True Grit this weekend it was pretty good of recently made westerns I still like the remake of 3:10 to Yuma a bit better.

If you like Animeish type of cartoons, I found that Arriety was a pretty good movie. Anyone else see it other than me? It did not do too well at the Box office so I doubt it. Just the Borrowers theme. I recommend it if you like Borrowers and anime.

I watched ET again the other day. Forgot how good the movie was. Still the music seemed different than it did when I was a kid. Not sure what was different about it though. It reminded me of a movie that was not made by stephen Spielberg.

I'm glad to hear that it's good. I have it pre-ordered on blu-ray, as screenplay was done by Hayayo Miyazaki. Should be arriving shortly after May 22nd.

Damn it seems all the studio Ghibli movies are coming to blu-ray. I must resist, I already have them on dvd. Poor wallet.

Are they the ones who did Howl's moving Castle?

Anyone else watch Ponyo?

Yes and Yes and don't forget Spirited away and Mononoke-Hime. Hayao Miyazaki wrote Howl's moving castle and directed and wrote Ponyo.
Ponyo is a great movie, a fun take on the little mermaid. The artwork is stunning, hard to believe it was all hand drawn.
