Damn I watched most of Jakie Chan movies and its hard to call a favorite. He was a good action star, but Hollywood kind of ruin him. The first movie that comes to mind when I think of Jackie Chan is Police Story followed by drunken master.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

SUPERCOP!

There was actually not a lot of big fighting scenes, but I really enjoyed it. I think this was the one where he fought the bad ass Kickboxer guy in the beginning.

With the Avengers set to assemble at the film's world premiere on Thursday, Marvel took the pre-emptive liberty of introducing the super hero crew to the world a few hours early. our editor recommends 'Avengers': Cobie Smulders Gets Some Screen Time in New Clip (Video) 'Avengers' Scene Featuring Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow Released Online (Video) In yet another snippet of the blockbuster film, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) does a bit of explanatory smack talking to the flick's chief villain, the fallen god Loki (Tom Hiddleston). And while the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes don't appear on screen, Stark talks them up well, including his characterization of The Hulk as "a man with breathtaking anger management issues." Ironically, during his AMA chat at Reddit yesterday, writer/director Joss Whedon called Mark Ruffalo, the man who plays The Hulk, "one of the best and sweetest actors I know." Downey Jr. will soon be back in Stark's superhero skin, dealing quips and lethal blows as he begins production on Iron Man 3, which now may include Sir Ben Kingsley as one of its villains. Avengers will hit theaters on May 4 after its closing night screening at the Tribeca Film Festival.

3 Lessons From 'The Dark Knight Rises' PG-13 Rating

UPDATED: The classification is not unexpected, but it does expose some intriguing nuggets about the soon-to-be summer blockbuster.

The Dark Knight Rises, the new Batman film from Warner Bros. and director Christopher Nolan, has been rated PG-13. The move is not unexpected -- 2008’s The Dark Knight had the same label -- but it does underscore some interesting tidbits about the movie.

  1. The rating means Dark Knight Rises is completely finished — sound and score included — more than three months before its July 20 release date. That’s an unusual accomplishment for an epic tentpole movie these days, most of which are finalized just weeks before their release. The Amazing Spider-Man, which opens July 2, doesn’t have a rating yet, nor does Prometheus, the Ridley Scott-directed sci-fi film set to open June 8. It also means the cut of the movie screened by Nolan for top Warners brass March 16 was far from a rough print and was close to his final version. The timeline highlights how efficient Nolan is as a filmmaker.
  2. The early rating also fires the starter pistol for the most aggressive phase of Warners' marketing plan, according to sources. As a follow-up to a movie that grossed $1 billion worldwide, hit status for Rises seems inevitable. But Warners clearly isn’t leaving anything to chance: With three months to go and a ratings label in hand, the studio will be able to hone its message with laser-like focus. It also means Warners will be able to start screening the movie for tastemakers and critics. If it chooses to, of course. (UPDATE: Warners says Nolan could still make small technical tweaks to the movie, so it's not quite ready for screenings.)
  3. Finally, TDKR scored its rating for “intense sequences of violence and action, some sensuality and language.” The 2008 movie was considered envelope-pushing for its intensity -- some parents were left wondering why the Batman movie hadn’t been rated R -- and the rating leaves no question that audiences can expect the same with the new movie. But by singling out “sensuality” in the label, the ratings board might be indicating that this movie has something new to show about the Caped Crusader. It might also preview a more emotional side of Nolan, whose films have been described as more cerebral than emotion-filled.

Other than Spiderman 2 and 3, these are some of the few Superhero movies that I have ever looked forward to! I was mildly dissapointed with Spiderman 3, but still looked forward to it.

(In reply to the Title.) Most likely. There are a ton of people who remember it from their childhood and I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to take their children to see it. I know I won't see it, I hated the show on TV.

I actually agree! People are going to wanna relive memories, and some kids may be interested. I hated it as well until a few months back when I watched one where they were stow aways on an ocean ship, with my kids. Turned out to be kind of funny, and it caught their attention! Still, I would rather get kicked in the shinn, than see this movie. Def. Would not pay money.

Now for some cool Batman pics!

Some more images from that issue of Entertainment Weekly have wound up online.

Uhhh! Anne Hathaway. ^___^ She's quite pretty.

Last night I decided to site down with a 90's movie favorite of mine, Daylight. Does it stand the test of time, or does it flounder in the evolutionary pool? First lets take a look at the typical 90's Stallone Movie.

Supporting Cast

It does not matter which movie you pick, all of Stallones 90's movies have the same actors in them that were barely surviving in the industry during that decade alone.

Kevin Connolly ~ Rocky V

JoBeth Williams ~ Stop or my Mom will shoot!

Martin Ferrero~    What about this guy (Jurrasic Park sleazball) Also in Stop or my Mom will Shoot!

Benjamin Bratt, Dennis Leary, and Wesley Snipes ~ All in Demolition Man

Armand Assante and Rob Schneider ~ Judge Dredd ( Yes, you see Rob now, but remember when he was in every 90's movie?)

Amy Brenneman Viggo Mortensen Dan Hedaya Jay O. Sanders Trina McGee Stan Shaw ~ All in Daylight!

Now you may be wondering, "What are you talking about?"  I still see these characters in the occassional tv movie or commercial. That is true, but the 90's was most of these stars time to shine. In what other decade could you have been force fed movie after movie after movie of Dennis Leary? Wesley Snipes career basically died there, Sandra and Viggo rose up, and the rest of these people will go down as just another bunch of extras that happened to be in a Stallone movie. What is strange is that so many of his movies have these second rate actors instead of just paying less for some newbies. It seems like every movie I watch of his I am staring at more and more actors that I have seen multiple times, if only for a few scenes in various movies. Is there a point? No. Just something that I notice when I watch a stallone movie.

Catch Phrase

To be honest this is one Stallone movie that is short on catch phrases. Maybe he started to figure out that the World was done with catch phrases. I do not know. Either way his rival Arnold would continue to use them in movies like Eraser, where he said this to an Alligator after shooting it in the head, "Your luggage". Bruce Willis is still holding on as well with his "YippekiA**********" line.

Now Stallones only catch Phrase comes at the end of Daylight, but the movie is already over so it matters little. What was it? Something stupid about darkness or daylight of course.

Screaming Irrational bad guys

Can you have a 90's or 80's action movie with out the stupid punk rocker who screams, laughs hysterically, and is horribly evil? Do not worry, in a scene that makes no sense at all three punk rockers with tatoos and knives steal a brief case and a car from some sort of business man. Do not worry about what was in the briefcase, because with in 5 minutes of expertely running from the cops they go into the tunnel flip the car and land in a Military truck full of explosive chemicals that takes the whole tunnel down and totally destroyes close to 1,000 lives. A dozen or so lucky people which include: Prisoners, a meth addict, a security guard who was in the movie Snake eyes, a nobody, two old people with a dog, and the ill fated Viggo Mortenson.  Long story short, three screaming maniacs are what make this movie work.

When I think about it, every Stallone movie seems to be the same from this period. In Cliffhanger he has the crazy Airplane gang that do whatever it takes to have Stallone slowly take them out on the mountain, Judge Dredd is nothing but screaming future folks who have nothing to lose. I could name countless more. Why is it that henchmen have to be total idiots. like most of the underlings in the original Batman Movies. STallone could tell us, but then that would take away from his upcoming movie The Expendables 2, where a team of wrestlers and 70 year olds take on the world ala the movie "REd".

Conclusion

Daylight was a good movie! But it was extremely dark. People are maimed and mutilated all over the place, dogs drown, George the security guard is rescued/paralysed/then left to die as Stallone cries and leaves him to save his own life, Viggo thinks himself as a god and has the tunnel collapse on him, a prisoner has a spike stab through him and asks someone to tell his father he helped~ but then seconds later says nevermind, he will not believe you.

That all happens in just 20 minutes of the movie people!

Stallone is just a taxi cab driver, but he knows more than everyone in the city, and he can just walk into any enforcement office when ever he wants and get past 30 cops without being caught. In other words, just another amazing acting job by Stallone. His fake crying scenes are over the top (!) terrible as well. In the end when everyone continues to ignore him and do what they want, Stallone and the random 90's female actor that was mentioned above are left to die. He then thinks of something impossible. He screams and punches the Mud wall so hard that an air bubble forms sucking them up into some river near New York. Both are saved, and that is when we get the line.

Actual Best Quote from the movie

Movie Name: Daylight (1996)
Quote:

Madelyne Thompson: Dont be scared. Theyre just shit with feet.

That is in response to a bunch of rats that finally just happen to come out and show them the way out of some long lost room.
