so out of 1.2 million Vita's sold, thats 780,000 copies of Uncharted.

but unfortunately i believe he is just referring to America sales, since he is the president of SCEA.

i think American sales are like 300k, so that makes around 200,000 sales.

assuming Europeans have bought Uncharted in similar fashion thats another 200k-250k.

and with Japan adding another 100k-150k.

that brings total sales to around 500,000-600,000 sales. not bad, not bad at all!!

it means the 60% wasn't for the first full week of sales because that week ends February 25th. Either way these sales are rather impressive for America. It should go on to sell quite well.

it also means VGchartz either has it undertracked by a good amount, or 50% of its sales have come from download

ya this info definitely seems to show vgchartz numbers are low. I don't think 50% is realistic for digital downloads, especially considering all the buy 2 get 1 free deals that would encourage people to buy physical games.

This is an excellent sign for Sony in general. They needed to make their exclusives must-buys, very much like Nintendo and MS have been able to pull off (Nintendo much more so). To have uncharted sell 2:3 with every system sold is GREAT for the franchise.

This is a positive step for Sony's direction, and makes them a more worthy competitor to the others by that same effect.

No, it just means Uncharted is the biggest launch game they got in EU/NA. Do you think an original Call of Duty or GTA wouldn't sell as much at launch?
