i think between 120-130 million, as nexgen consoles will be going up, Ps2 will be lost more and more......

Maybe, but the 360 has been out for more than 2 years and it still has yet to consistently outsell the PS2

I'll say 140 million. I read somewhere that Sony is going to try to somewhat compete with the Wii by leveraging the PS2's vast gaming library, dirt-cheap price, and by releasing and encouraging casual games. How successful they will be is anyone's guess, but I think it will be enough to sell ~20 million consoles in the next 3-4 years.



Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

The PS2 has already produced/sold to retail 120.89mil at the end of the second Quarter of 2007. With the third quarter which comes out tomorrow i expect another 3-4mil. With atleast another 3years of sales to go i expect maybe 135-140.

 And yet the PS3, PSP and PS2 all outsell the 360 an a weekly basis. I guess people are buying them after all.
