it astounds me that most of the "dream" games being requested are about as far away from a nintendo style developed game as can be leading me to wonder, why you guys are in fact nintendo fans...

That's what actual Nintendo games are for

..makes about as much sense as going to a chinese restraunt to order a pizza.

Even if pizza was my favourite food, I wouldn't want it for every meal of every day forever... Bring in the chinese food!

No, it doesn't.  Why do fans of Nintendo games and fans of completely different kinds of 3rd party games have to be mutually exclusive?  I'm a die-hard Nintendo fan, yet Bioshock is my favorite game this gen, with Uncharted 2 probably next.  Clearly, many of us want variety for Nintendo's next console.

Instead, it's like going to the supermarket and only being able to find chinese food there.  Many would like to be able to get pizza, fish and mexican food as well...

This is so true! I'm a Nintendo guy, only console I got - but i played uncharted 2 today, and damn! I want it! But i'm dubious to buying a second console at their current price tag... Sadly, I think I've missed a lot of games this gen that didn't appear on Wii...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I want a brand new IP where you start out by plotting in your own house's room layout etc. Then you use the controller to walk around your own house looking for naked ladies. You bring it into your bathroom for example and lo and behold, there is a little hunny in the shower meticulously cleaning her chest area.

If this is somehow to 'Mature' for Nintendo then just substitute naked hunnies with zombies and have an augmented reality zombie survival game playing out in your own home.

Maybe a new Monster Hunter? I really don't give a damn about too many third party companies right now. Capcom seems to be the one I buy the most third party games from though. Who can blame me when most third party companies took a shit all over the Wii. Not good to have shit on your Wii.

there is no supermarket this generation.  nintendo took extrodinary to rebrand themselves for this gen and we basically got what we were advertised, a meal of games completely forgien to what we were used to.  the wiiU reveal is very clear in one message -- nintendo want to continue being an exotic dish.  believing you can get good old fashioned home cooking from nintendo only sets yourself up for disappointment.

...i think this analogy has reach its limit lol.

I`d say Super Mario 64 remake in HD or a Super Mario Bros 4/World 3.
Mass Effect trilogy
Modern Warfare 4 or Battlefield 4
Fighters Destiny 3 or a new Bloody Roar
Pikmin 3
Wave Race
Final Fantasy VII/X remake
World Cup Soccer (NES) remake
Extreme G
San Francisco Rush
Diddy Kong Racing 2

That doesn't explain why you find it so astounding that a Nintendo fan might enjoy a non-Nintendo style game

Besides, what you said is totally wrong looking at the titles announced so far for WiiU

perhaps because i the "games" nintendo now puts out to be as mutually exclusive to things like dead space, resident evil, GTA, and other games requested in this thread as say dora the explorer would be to firefly...
