So I've been watching the first season of Prison Break for the last week or so and I finally "finished" it tonight. Of course by finish I mean I finished all the episodes of the first season, I didn't actually finish the season because it didn't fucking end.
If you haven't been watching the show, don't worry about it. The only surprise is that the show doesn't actually end (and I don't mean this like they "ended" the season in some clever way that left you curious), it's pretty much what you expect. But just in case you care, there are spoilers from here on out.
HERE BE SPOILERS AND CURSE WORDS
So the last episode is the gang out of prison trying to actually escape. They go through all their little trials and they even try to add in some irony with the two douche's that got kicked out of the gang after escaping the prison actually make it free and clear. But I'm getting ahead of myself, lets take a step back and look at the other characters before we get to what we would expect to be at end of the show.
So there's this one lawyer chick that is trying to save the main characters brother from death row. She went through bombs, wells, stoves, and all other sorts of things to get to the bottom of things. When she finally figures out she has to go to some estate in Montana she sees the man that she thought the brother had killed! And then the scene ends.
Now lets get to the Vice President who some evil company has been trying to set up to be president. Up to the last episode she had been fucking up and the company was about ready to take her out. In the final minutes of the show we find out that the President suddenly had a heart attack and we find out that it was the VP that did it. She then tells the company to fuck off and her part ends.
There's also this chick doctor who was in love with the main characters. She has issues because apparently she is randomly a drug addict and decides to get back on drugs because she's a whiny bitch who pretends to have morals but really doesn't. The last you see of her is passed out on her bed with police saying she's either passed out or DOA. Wow, thanks for stating the obvious dumb fucks.
Finally, the escapees. They go through all sorts of shit to get to some airplane that is supposed to take them Mexico. Well the plane takes off and they're fucked. And that's where the episode ends.
I'm in no way kidding, that's how the season fucking ends.

Nothing is resolved at all. It sucks. That's not how you end a season of a show. It's perfectly fine to leave things open at the end of a season, in fact it's expected if the series is to continue, but this was crap. Did anyone else watch this show and was this pissed off at the final episode?
I was all ready to get into the second season. Up until the last episode the show wasn't good but it also wasn't bad. It was fun to watch and I was glad I had started watching. Now I'm just pissed and I hate the damn show.
