Yep, creating two to three strong titles with great success would deliver a bigger impact than release 5-7 individual games with moderate-good success.

That's why the Wii outsells the PS3.

But variety...it's...it's fun and...stuff...oh- just me? I'll get my coat then.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

"Many of the Xbox 360 exclusives are simple continuations of previous titles"

you can say the same for sony as well god of war'3' socom '4' infamous '2' uncharted '3' kilzone '3' lbp'2' and for this year i think they have tlg which is a franchise from last gen along with twisted metal which is even older and warhawk

the bottom line is this late into a gen its really rare that you'll get exclusives or new IPs, besides there are plenty of big 3rd party releases that both sony and MS owners will enjoy like ME3, maxpayne3, new tombraider, next gta, silent hill, and re6, 3rd party is where its at

im sure MS are saving the new ips and exclusives for next gen

I'm not sure if you've checked weekly sales recently but the Wii sells less than both 360 and PS3 each week.

I didn't mean recently

They're obviously holding back any new IPs for the next generation, besides they already have great 3rd party support (the vast majority of the 360's biggest selling games are 3rd party titles, both exclusives and multiplatform, much like the PS2's was last gen.)

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I've never understood the argument of Microsoft delivering quality while SONY delivers quantity, SONY delivers both. Sales are a different story ofcourse, but maybe one should revise his or her own source if he says Uncharted or Infamous or LittleBigPlanet isn't as critically adored as gears of war or forza motorsport 4. Maybe it's microsofts IPs lack of competition or SONYs lack of ambition to advertise a game, either way it really is a shame and if anyone is to be held for blame, it's me, for writing a shitty poem about it.
