Hey guys new to the thread...I think. Just a quick question I'm looking for any animes that are somewhat similar to Code Geass and Death Note. I've seen all Full Metal Alchemist animes, currently one third threw Monster and I just seen episode 1 of Darker then Black which seems interesting and I'll continue watching more. Looking for that next anime where when the episode ends it's almost impossible for me to not watch the next one, Monsters a little slow now but I have a feeling the endings going to be epic and full of twists. Any suggestions!

Off the top of my head, Gundam 00. It has a lot of twists like Code Geass and Death Note and if you liked Code Geass, I'm guessing you like mecha animes. You also don't need to watch any other gundams to get the story as it is set in an alternate universe. I think it's actually set a couple centuries after our present time.

Anyone here a fan of The World God Only Knows?

I'm not a fan of the harem/romance genre, and thought I never would until I ran into this gem 3 years ago.

It's just it feels radically different from what I've experinced in both genres and the story/main character is extremely intresting.

I'm irked that there hasn't been a english release yet, as I'd buy every volume in a heart beat.

Waiting for season 3 of the anime!

Its alot better than Gundam Seed in my opinion. Plus, it like TKG said it has the twists that you're looking for and more akin to Gundam Wing. While Gundam Seed has more of the traditional themes thrown upon it with romance sprinkled on top.

I've started watching Gundam Age, so far its ok, nothing special though ;o

It has that "SD Gundam" vibe to it ;x

But it doesn't.

Age is good while SD is an abomination.
