I think it will pass the Wii in Q3 2013.

It doesn't seem likely to happen. After 6 years on the market, it has sold 34 million, the Wii is closing in on 43 million after 5 years. That is a nearly 9 million unit gap that has to be closed, the gap has largely been there for about 3-4 years now, and I don't see why it will be much different before the next generation begins; or afterwards.

The Xbox 360 might get ahead of 43 million in 2 years, but in two years the Wii will also be much further ahead of that. By that point system sales will be minute for both consoles, and the next generation will have already begun.

huh? no the gap isn't 9 mill, it's 6.6, and it'll be different because the X360 is outselling the Wii in the US by millions, have you been living under a rock?

In 2 years the X360 will easily be above 43 mill, but no, Wii won't be much further head at that point, it'll be lucky if it's overtaken the PS2 at that point (46 mill)

I say Q2 2013

Unlike Xbox360 vs PS3 where the PS3 will most likely overtake the xbox360, I'ld say theres a very low chance of this happening but thats a boring answer so I'll say Q4 2014

One year has passed, and now the gap is less than 2mill.
