oker teases “Batman: Arkham World”

During his acceptance speech for best character at the Video Game Awards tonight, Joker (of Batman: Arkham City) held up a manuscript for a game titled “Batman: Arkham World.”

He quickly hid the script, adding, “Whoops. Spoilers.”

Trolling! I kinda have the feeling that Joker won't be in the next Batman game. Just call it a hunch. And Arkham Asylum made sense (named after Amadeus Arkham) as did the super prison, Arkham City. How in the hell would they explain an entire planet?

My guess is that the next Batman game will feature the whole city and will be called "Gotham City" or be based on the 1997 storyline "No Man's Land" which is a no brainer for a Batman video game adaptation.

Nobody really cares about Spider-man anymore. He aint #1 now.

1. Spider-Man Comics general outsell not only Batman but DC in general for years... only since the reboot of DC has DC been catching Marvel. now if your talkin about game wise... the semi right. Batman is #1 but it was Spider-Man that set standards for Super Hero and license games.

Nope not valid on either accounts: 1. Mark has been saying he is done with joker more than once( he said it on DCUO and the AA) 2. Watch the credits... hes doing quite fine :)

Lol do we have Spoiler tags on VGC? That was an old voicemail and replay Arkham City again and play close attention to the Painting....Looks a lot like the ending doesn't it?

That was then, comic sales dont really mean much because they sell a hundred thousand copies if that and DC comics suck. In recent years due to the failure that was Spider-man 3 and the success that was The Dark Knight, now he is the top dog.  Batman Arkham Asylum went and sold over 5 million copies while Shattered Dimensions has yet to sell 1 million and edge of Time was a complete bomb,
