 Well, I think that if it wasn't for Kojima, it would've been multiplat a month after the ps3 launched, and was still sitting on shelves.

GOW 3 was confirmed, and MGS 4 is the PS3s big hitter, porting it over would be a blow to PS3.

That is such a common error among 360 fans. Microsoft didn't give Take Two 50mil for exclusive content, they loaned Take Two 50mil for exclusive content.

That was done with MS/Take Two's expectation that the downloadable content will make more profit then 50mil, if however it does not, then Take Two have to pay Microsoft back for the balance. Basically, Microsoft only advanced Take Two money that they would already get anyway for the extra downloadable content, so Microsoft are not losing any money at all.

And if anyone thinks that Microsoft are going to throw big dollars at Konami for a year later port you are in dreamland. Microsoft will never get their money back in sales. MGS4 will do it's damage in 08, fall 09 is useless, MGS4 will be old news come that time. Especially since Sony have already announced that they will be bundling MGS4 with PS3's.

It seems that every console is allowed to have 3rd party exclusives, except the PS3. With near 9 million consoles sold you'd think people would get off it already. The 360 had exclusives when it had less consoles sold, so why can't the PS3. Heck, even the Xbox 1 had exclusives and it sold less than half of the PS2!!

Yet people still believe that the lack of user base will prevent exclusivity. Not true!! If that were true MGS Acid would be on the DS not the PSP...yeah...I went there!

This is because game development costs are rising, so developers need to make more profit to recoup costs.

I guess people will never give up about this rumour, even though it has been confirmed to be false numerous times... Sad 360 fanboys lol

if MGS4 is ever ported over, hopefully EA does it and they do a crappy "Orange Box" type port! hahahahah This means worse graphics, framerate issues, etc.!

360 User:  There seems to be a lot of great games for 360 compared to PS3.

Sony User: You must have been bought off too.  The games on 360 don't match up to the quality of Lair, Folklore, Eye of Judgement, etc.  By the way Microsoft bought reviewers off to ensure they got less then spectacular ratings.  Everyone who buys the games love them.

360 User:  Doesn't Bill Gates have $37.6 Billion invested in his foundation to upgrade health and education world-wide.

Sony User:  It is a secret fund from Microsoft to buy off the poor.
