Astounding numbers. Almost as surprising is the percentage of the sales that are on PS3. I though that would be much lower.

COD is almost a perfect fall game its so easy for anyone to play, the online can last you ages. i know many people all they really buy is the new COD and new FIFA

i understand why it sells so much, but it takes so much revenue from other deserving titles

Many people choice in getting a PS3, is due to free online play.

So a lot of people who have gotten PS3 lately are the ones to be attracted to game like COD, that are known for their multi player.

This is sad and frustrating. There's so much more better games that have so much more dedication, care and effort put into them that actually deserve these sort of sales, I.E Mass Effect franchise, Uncharted franchise, Dark Souls, bioshock franchise, Batman Arkham franchise.
But the worse thing is that, if there's any game that doesnt deserve it, it's the recycled CoD games themselves, simply because it's just too easy for them, they dont add nothing new to them whatsoever its just like a expensive expansion pack every year, you can garantee there hasnt been nowhere near the effort, attention and detail put into MW3 than whats being put into Mass effect 3 or Bioshock infinity. yet the latter games wont sell noway near what MW3 will, its sad really sad.

Its not sad, as I explained Bioshock and Mass Effect are great games but they do not appeal to the casual gamer.

here is an interesting, (well not really) story , I went to the store today,everyone was trying to sell me MW3, even though i have it on Steam already , i don't give a shit about that game, and i asked about skyrim, i felt the need to punch someone when some of them didn't even know what i am talking about, and were "Skyrip?" "Silent Hill?" "Sims ?" =/, just got Ico collection and was done with it.

lol I went to the gamestop yesterday for MW3.

Standing in line, and everyone is talking about other games but no one is buying any other game.
