PlayStation Network Is Down Again, Sony Investigating

Reports that the PlayStation Network has gone down again have been confirmed by PlayStation Europe, as they have put out a message in an attempt to allay fears.

"We're aware that PSN is currently unavailable and working with the technicians to find out when it will be restored. Apologies," said the message on Twitter.

Gamers will be hoping this is just a temporary glitch, much like the one suffered by Xbox Live a short while ago, and not something more serious.

How long has it been down?

i read the title and i like wft im downloading resident evil 4 in the background lol

i turned my ps3 off 3 hours ago but i was online at the time

i haven't been able to access the psn just now & thought my PS3 had problems with the last update

i hope its just a minor thing that can be resolved quickly

it tells me there is an error or the connection timed out!!

wow if i wake up tomorow and it's still down ill be pretty ticked :( although i have dead island , resistance 3 , driver san fransisco battlefield bad company 2 and dead space 2 to finish
