WTH?? They were going to do a price drop regardless. LOL Ninty didnt make them do anything, IF someone did it would be MS. PS3 has been kicking Wii's ass all year. And even the 3DS feel to PSP in some weeks, despite people thinking it would kill it. Do you believe that PS3 wont beat out at least 360 in Japan???

Very bias and incorrect article. Who didn't believe that a cut was coming this year? It was #1 every week despite having the highest price point. This pricecut won't be as dramatic as the last but it will push the PS3 ahead until holidays.
This had NOTHING to do with Nintendo. If this regarded the Vita and the 3DS sure then Ninty's actions would impact it.
As said above, PS3 doesn't consider Wii a comptitor; they are competing with 360

They have been quoted as saying that they do not consider the Wii a direct competitor as it is a casual console. Their focus is on the 360. Look it up.
