Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo dates Super Mario Land 3D and Mario Kart 7 for NA

I don't see Pokemon Rumble doing much for 3DS sales unless it is a great fully fleshed out title but I see it as being a cheap knock off gaiden thing. Mario Kart and SML3DS are more limited by install base. Even if they manage to double install base to 7 million by late November with an 80% percent attach rate we still have abysmal sales for those series. They may make it to 1.5* levels of sales of their Gamecube iterations.

sounds good.... i think i need to get me one :)

The Gamer - Cheap PS3 Games

I can see the 3DS making a comeback by the time 2012 comes around; it's actually pretty obvious that it will since Nintendo is so desperate to make sure it succeeds.

3DS is looking to have a very strong first holiday season in terms of software. Very few consoles have had a strong first holiday season, the only one I can think of is the Gamecube (Luigi's Mansion, Smash Bros, and Pikmin!).

When is Kid Icarus coming?

Super Mario 3DS looks exactly like a 3d version of SMB3, that's so awesome.

Wow not a single new ip.... Seeing that Nintendo play safe as always.(with games)

If they just had some new orignal games i would probably jump on 3DS because of the new price but with the lack of orignal titles from Nintendo it's no.

Good game is good game regardless if it's a new IP or not. The problem for Nintendo is that people only buy their old IPs so they have no reason to do anything else

A good Call of Duty on the Vita should be enough to "save" it. Not to mention that Capcom will ensure great sales in Japan with Monster Hunter.

I can't really see CoD being the game to 'save' the Vita. I'm not willing to write the Vita off before it's released though, as with all this stuff it's wait and see.

People need to stop comparing $1 game to $40 game, when it comes to counting units sold.
