I have no idea why he brought Wii into this, that's a retarded move. You only talk about Wii when it comes to 3rd party if you are a competitor, or people will laugh at your face.

No way, to me, Nintendo, has the best one, but Sony is pretty much on par with them, but one thing for sure:
They both blow MS first party away.

It's all about the blockbusters really. Nintendo was their only true competition in that regard, but they've been inconsistant over the last 2 years.

I'd have thought that Galaxy 2, Other M, Kirby's Epic Yarn, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Fit Plus, Wii Party etc. released and developed by Nintendo for Wii in the past 24 months were received better than Halo:Reach, Kinect Adventures and Forza 3...I don't know my MS games BTW. I'll happily say otherwise if proven true, but I doubt it As for this year, they both have 1- Gears 3 and SS, as well as a couple lesser titles (Kinect for MS, Wii Play Motion, Xenoblade for Wii). Is it as strong as '08? Not really (but 3rd party was good last year), but it still beats Microsoft's.

What big blockbusters are you talking about? besides Halo and Gears, what other games do you speak of?

If you are talking about 1st party, Sony has been more consistant with your so called "Blockbuster" in the past 2 years, which doesn't really mean much since those 1st party titles lost to uh, NSMBW. Have you even followed the data on this site? I mean, Nintendo rapes both easily, so really, whatever Nintendo is selling are the real "Blockbusters" to us consumers no? Not whatever you are thinking of?

He's talking about the past 2 years, so Gears doesn't even count, there is like, Halo: Reach, and maybe Halo:ODST if you count the months and not the years.

MS Have Gears, Halo and Forza this Holiday, all sell above 4 mill and all likely to rate 90+

Not that i think MS has the best exclusives and first party (I rank them at the bottom, just happen to be my faovurites in there though thankfully) but ..

As much as I love the 360 and I really do enjoy its games more than any other console I don't think he can really justify it by saying things like units sold and stuff. Nintendo crushes MS on that front just look at New Super Mario Bros Wii, Mario Kart, and other Ninty franchises. They are software giants.

He however can say its better than Sony's I don't have much problem with him saying that, since its proven MS games review higher generally and sell better.

Making blockbusters has to do more with davertising then it does a quality game, MS just spends hundreds of millions on advertising for the 2 or 3 games they actually release a year
