Giant bomb posted an interview with Miyamoto yesterday on their website.

Among other. Things Miyamoto was asked about the power of Wii u. In which his response was " The Wii u isn't dramatically more powerful than 360/ps3. The games will be comparable.".

I believe that the interview was actually done by gamespot. Anyways go to giant bomb to check it. I cannot post link. I'm on my phone.

Of course the not being much more powerful than PS360 could be paraphrased to mean WIi U is not really powerful as PS360 is 5 years old tech now, but da haterzz will pick on you!

hmm if the demo we saw was on underclocked systems and that they are receiving new dev kits with more power then what does this mean?

I would be curious as to the actual interview contents, because i recollect one from immediately after E3 in which something vaguely similar was said about them reaching that actual level, but you must factor in that this is coming from a man who is primarily unconcerned with technological dick-wagging

Though of course its not going to be incomparably more powerful, but i'd hazard that you're definitely going to see stuff you just can't see on PS360 (and be able to distinctly see it, unlike Wii which never really had that "Eureka, this is better than anything on GC/PS2/Xbox" moment

Well vgc wasn't like that in 2007. If they do that, then the site is gone from bdonv the best to one of the worst.
