nobody won IMO..they all showed games we basically knew about...kind of a snorefest....Microsoft started the show off with Single Player Call of Duty..like we don't know how Call of Duty plays already?? If anything show the multiplayer, thats what most people are interested in (at least thats what i think). Same thing with the Gears demo..again, we know how Gears of War plays..do we really need to have this at a press conference??
Same thing with Nintendo..they showed Mario Kart, New Mario Bros, Kid Icarus, Starfox, Resident Evil..granted we didn't really see footage of some of these games before E3, but still we knew about them and weren't surprised at all when they were shown. They unvielded the WiiU, but never actually showed the console and what it's capable of. They only showed the controller and most people were left scratching their heads after the conference to figure out what exactly WiiU is. How are games going to be played on this? I figured out more about WiiU after the conference when Reggie was taking questions than i did watching the press conference.
Same can be said for Sony in some ways even though i think they may have had the "best" conference by showing off the Vita with some good games to back it up..yes uncharted looks great for PS3 and the demo looked great, but again do i have to watch a demo being played at a press conference where im expecting big announcments to made and new games to be shown? Do i have to watch Kobe play nba2k12 for like 5 seconds with the "all new" move controls where all they showed was pointing and passing.?? If i want to see footage of a game being played ill just go to a video game site and watch it there instead of watching a 2 hour confernce.
