how are you farming for it?  above you said that you cleared the entire level many times.  you know that the 2 katana black phantoms are the only two guys in the game that can really drop it right?  enter the level at the old ones lair and then go through the level backwards.   just run through the area with the slugs and exploding things.  there is only 1 guy between you and the black phantom so you should be able to get a kill every 1-2 minutes.   took my around 10 hours of farming this way to get it.

Thats what i do lol... I only clear the level when i get bored doing the same thing...

I know Trophies are hard to resist, they're addictive and I've already spent too many hours to get extra Trophies (beyond those you get by just completing a game) but they're deceptive and a totally meaningless timesink that I try to resist as much as I can.

I haven't played Demon Souls in a year... I think I gain 50-60 levels farming that Pure Bladestone. I can't really remember but I think my character level is 250 something that have a 5 Bladestone weapon. Send me a message and I can invade your world and drop the weapon so you can get the trophy. All that for a trophy? I'd understand if you were doing that for a sharp weapon or something... which I don't find all too useful. I got mine from the black skeleton @ 4-2 I think... didn't take all too much effort... I was just gathering souls, didn't even need it.

Yes all for a trophy. ever since i had a son i try to 100% every game. Afterwards i trade them in... I still dont buy used though unless when i tade in there are no new games i want.

It's really just to slow down my game buying habits....

You know, you just need someone to lend you their fully upgraded bladestone weapon for the trophy. Unless they changed that? So you could try and go that route instead of asking for an actual stone.

I made a new character and it took me 11 hours of farming to get it. I literally spent over 30 hours on this fucking trophy... time to fucking chuck this disc right out of my disc drive.

now just 1,500 kills from 10k kills in resistance 2 and i trade these 2 games in for infamous 2!

Congrats, I still need to plat Demon's Souls myself. Every time I go to work on it I get distracted by other games.
