As many of you know I'm a Manager for Gamestop.  Today MW3 officially went up for pre-order for November 8th.  As part of our pre-order push we were given limited edition Modern Warfare 3 posters with some valuable info on them.  One side is a fake Time magazine cover with headlines on it.  Most of this stuff has been rumored or widely believed but this is picture evidence.

So some pretty big story detail confirmations as well as that the boxart that was leaked earlier is indeed official.

One of the reasons I prefer the MW games, is because you play as the SAS with Soap and Price.

Being British, I find this awesome.

i love the story for modern warfare..if they can make a long and deep story ill be more interested...

indeed story is pretty damn awesome actually, they just need to improve the actual story telling in MW3 and it could be amazing.

And I can't help but wonder who kidnapped the Russian presidents daughter, like the poster says. Could it possibly be Soap and Price?

as oppose to what?  thats the point of my post. Id like to see MW3 have a longer story (any maaaybe we'll get a longer story then 5 hours..who knows...). Most buy the game for the online but its been the same as before..as for me...I plan on renting the game...if anything.

I do enjoy the poster and hope we hear more about how the single player will unfold.

Well the Modern Warfare story arc of the CoD series isn't my favorite, but I do want to see what is going to happen so I'll probably end up buying this game.  Although, it is going to lose out to Battlefield 3 when it comes to online multiplayer for me.  But that is a pretty cool poster.  Wonder when my store will get those in. 

yeah never bought a COD, I always ask a friend for the game, so I can play the singleplayer... and guess what, he will recieve the game the same day again :D
