Forums - Sony Discussion - The Welcome Back Programme for SCEE Users. List of games

It's kind of sad reading some of the replies to their blog. So many people crying because it's not what they want.

A free game is a free game no matter how old it is. Nick Caplin has nicely replied to many people as well explaining that in some cases you just can't cater for everyone. PSN Plus people get 60 days free as well.

I mean this on is great:

"u and ur team what think about ur customers we’re kid(come on little kid give us ice cream and say nothing are u happy now?)NOOOOO

we’re not kid or mabye ur team haven’t full skill for work on psn?"

Hmm, pie.

Yeah, it's pretty disgusting. Even a forum like Neogaf, which likes to think they're above and beyond everyone else, have been seeing similar statements (with less spelling mistakes).

Sony could have offered everyone free access to the whole store for a week and I'm willing to bet that people would have still complained that they only get a week to download every single game.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

I was thinking about posting in the blog replies myself in support of the great deal we are getting but I fear it'll be lost in the sea of brown smelly mess spurted by some users.

Hmm, pie.

that lists alot better than i thought it would be.

was actually goin to just skip infamous 1 and get 2 but this is the perftect deal for me dead nation

End of 2012 prediction:

xbox 360 : 73-75 million  playstation 3 : 72-74 million  wii : 104-105 million

Most hyped for :

Bioshock: infinte, The Last Of Us, Alan Wake's American Nightmare and Agent

What I'm talking about is: It's great you guys get a welcome back present and all. But all you lost were some weeks of free network gaming (besides the PSN plus subscribers who will be compensated for the downtime). I couldn't use my product at all. And I didn't exactly complain non-stop. I just waited for PSN to come back up. At the same time german message boards are cluttered with complaints because we'll get different games. And all these people lost were some weeks of free online gaming. Sony definitely needs to reconsider its priorities.

Well, it's hard to blame Sony for setting it up this way, otherwise it would probably be too easy to exploit. But why not send them an email if you have the receipt and ask if you can't be compensated too?

@ OT:

Nice list, I'll definitely be getting Dead Nation, though I don't know what else just yet. I have all the others, so... maybe I should get inFamous or LBP and trade in my physical copies.

I've sent them two emails and talked to their customer service once. The mails were standartised nonsense and the customers service didn't get what I was talking about (I'm pretty sure the woman didn't even know what a PSP Go was).
I guess I'll just wait and see for now. I'll be happy with my purchase as soon as the store is back online anyways

they should have chucked in a ps2 emulator to download
