if illegal software wanst so easily accesible, then their would be no pc gaming in asia. their are no low cost alternatives because even the legel shops sell low costing software at high prices(their prices are even higher then the ones in illegal shops).

now when it comes to free online games, we would never hear of them, and people woudnt get into them because of our crappy internet. unless they were already popular games, or an established franchise.

their is no alternative way, without piracy we woudnt have this huge pc gaming community.

I do believe there are alternitives but the alternitives can't thrive with so many of you getting top tier software illegally.

That same massive piracy can make the PC gaming community bigger everywhere. But it doesn't help the software developers nearly as much as you'd like to think it does. The developers get nothing and competition can't compete.

There isn't any respect for intellectual property law in Asia, the cheap stuff will get stolen too no matter how low they price it unless it is an fee based MMO.  Frankly there isn't a whole lot of incentive for developers in Asia to even make games, as it will be pirated/stolen/cracked ASAP.

Until PC makers actually start adding TPM chips into boards and using it, software will be pirated in the developing world.  Food > games.

I hope for Ninja Theory's own sake and capcom's sake, Ninja Theory doesn't cave in to the pressure by the "fans A.K.A. pirates" to release DMC on PC LOL.

what do you mean cave in to pressure? past games have made it to PC, it's not like all PC gamers are pirates many buy plenty of games. It's not like it would hurt them to release the game on PC plus the port would most likely make money.

Being from south east asia, I've seen alot of illegal stuff in the lan shops done by their owners here lol.

And I guess the piracy throughout the rest of asia is also the same.

Please look at the torrent stats before you criticise anyone who dares to disagree with you.
