You keep missing the point.

I didn't say the potential audience will buy $60 games. But they would look at low cost alternatives if illegal software wasn't so easily accessible.

if illegal software wanst so easily accesible, then their would be no pc gaming in asia. their are no low cost alternatives because even the legel shops sell low costing software at high prices(their prices are even higher then the ones in illegal shops).

now when it comes to free online games, we would never hear of them, and people woudnt get into them because of our crappy internet. unless they were already popular games, or an established franchise.

their is no alternative way, without piracy we woudnt have this huge pc gaming community.
