Pretty much. I don't know of any retail games sold that do not use the Wii remote in some capacity. Though many offer the use of those other 3 input devices to give gamers a choice. |
That's also why justifications over control are false, as other options are of course available, and even with Super Smash Bros, the director outright said which is the best controller.

maybe im wrong but maybe they give HDs more support because they make more profits and get more support from HDs??? SSF4 was a damn expansion pack and that sold more than Tvs.C and MHTri might look good, but compared to the PSP sales they aint all that

Street Fighter (the most popular traditional fighting game series of all time) versus an extemely niche crossover fighting game.
MHTri (which sold far more than any previous home console MH title and Capcom's second highest selling home console exclusive game this generation) versus the portable iterations that made the series famous.
You're also putting the cart after the horses here. Had Capcom continued to support Wii with high quality, high budgeted, high marketed titles, the sales would have been there for them as the fanbase would have been built. But when you throw out a good port, a bunch of niche titles, some light gun games, poor marketing, poor design, 1 big title, then more meh...you aren't going to get the same sales impact as you are trying to point out on the HD consoles.
You might also want to look at Capcom's financials. They do pretty good numbers on the Wii.
The rEVOLution is not being televised
^^^True, but if they did good numbers on Wii then maybe its just enough that the games that they did release sell well. So why put anymore effort when you can make a meh game with meh support and it still be profitable??? These arent your friends, people. they are a business and there going to do whats best for there bottom line. If you think they owe you something, then you might wanna think again. They lied to you??? So what?? THey all lie, the only question is who is the least full of crap(my money's on Ninty at the moment). Im sorry but if you keep believing there crap thats on y'all

Has TvsC. the same marketing and the same brand name than SSF?
Is homeconsole market strong in Japan as the portable one?

That cart-horse thing of course applies to other developers. I say it's not a coincidence that Activision has the best FPS sales on the Wii, and have the most FPS releases on the Wii.

Activision publishes the only good FPSs on Wii IMHO. THe ball was definately dropped in that genre, but whatcha gonna do. The AAA devs dont really wanna mess with Wii like that.

The point is that it wasn't a good idea, and will always have been a bad idea. And them refusing to admit it, and blaming the Wii audience, will always be refusing to take responsibility for their own screwups.
