| oniyide said: maybe im wrong but maybe they give HDs more support because they make more profits and get more support from HDs??? SSF4 was a damn expansion pack and that sold more than Tvs.C and MHTri might look good, but compared to the PSP sales they aint all that |
Street Fighter (the most popular traditional fighting game series of all time) versus an extemely niche crossover fighting game.
MHTri (which sold far more than any previous home console MH title and Capcom's second highest selling home console exclusive game this generation) versus the portable iterations that made the series famous.
You're also putting the cart after the horses here. Had Capcom continued to support Wii with high quality, high budgeted, high marketed titles, the sales would have been there for them as the fanbase would have been built. But when you throw out a good port, a bunch of niche titles, some light gun games, poor marketing, poor design, 1 big title, then more meh...you aren't going to get the same sales impact as you are trying to point out on the HD consoles.
You might also want to look at Capcom's financials. They do pretty good numbers on the Wii.
