In 2011, I will buy many new games, but I will also buy several older games.  I have done the same since 2007.  For example, last year I bought many new games (FFXIII, Galaxy 2, DKCR, DQIX,etc), but bought loads of older games (Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Symphony of the Night, etc).

nah, i'll keep on buying games like i always do. I just make sure to stay away from all the crappy games

Yup i would recomend not buying until yous complete them all, then buy a 3ds when they are retro.

Nooooooooo!! you have to keep buying games! without you game companies will go banckrupt! You just can't suddenly stop buying games!!

This year I'm only interested in Gears of War 3, Mass Effect 3 and Diablo III. There's not much I'm looking forward to. Imho this year will be the worst game year since.... 2006 (?)

its funny because looking at the game line up it seems the best year for gamers this generation. sucks to have your tastes because i am in the situation were i have to phase out games becuase i dont have the time or money to get them all. For example i had to remove lbp2 so i can save for homefront, crysis 2, shogun 2, brink, la niore, socom 4..... the list goes on and i haven't reach the half way mark of the year. 

to me it looks more like sucks to be you, because you have to phase out games.

I won't stop buying games completely but I think I will focus more on getting the games I've missed. I still haven't got SMG 2, NSMBWii, WSR, DKC:R, Epic Mickey, GoldenEye and tons of other games that should be in my collection.

I'm going to have to spend twice as much as last year. Skyrim, Infamous 2, Uncharted 3, Gears of War 3, Yakuza 4, Killzone 3, Resistance 3, LBP2, Gal Gun, whatever Mikami puts out and The Last Guardian are only a few of purchases for this. I'm sure I'll be picking up a few random titles on sale during the year as well.

I haven't purchased a game since God of War 3, in March 2010. Any game I have played since then is either borrowed or I got as a gift (which was only twice last year) Its not too difficult to stop buying games as long as you have enough to occupy you for a long period of time.

College kinda makes me cheaper when it comes to games lol. Makes me not want to buy them, cuz I'm scared I wouldn't be able to afford gas/food or something, lol.
