I dont think so because i didn't add the final 2 letters

Im just saying that the wii is doom itself. honest

Conegamer - I say that the PS3 will beat the DS next week in Japan  (for hardware sales) Forfeit is control over others avatar for 1 week.

1. Wii doesn't need saving

2. JRPG's like TLS or Xenoblade being localized won't help at all, I mean how much would xenoblade or TLS even sell in the West...not much at all.

Really there is only 1 thing that can raise Wii sales permanently to a new level

Wii Vitality Sensor which may be able to act as a "wii fit" for Wii and bring in new people.

Or like tarheel mentioned a Full Blown Wii Pokemon RPG.

Nintendo could do it, but why? It gives them money from software and hardware and third parties' effort won't change in any case. They sould (and are) concentrating on the next gen, releasing a few big games for Wii to keep it selling past 100m. 2011 is the last year of Wii, they won't do anything for it except games and a price cut maybe.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

No, the doom is finnaly making effect, let it die or else they'll go togheter into oblivion.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Wii will go into the sky's rim before going into oblivion.

Sadly, Skyrim shall stay single system.

Above: still the best game of the year.

I think the only things that can really "save" them this year are:

1-NSMB Wii 2

2- Price cut

3-Motiom plus games no one has ever seen creating new experiences to push non consumer to buy it.

4- Localizing some Japanese games might helps get some core games back to the ship.

5- Vitality Sensor.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Because it has been spammed to death, yes. It adds nothing to the thread, and has been annoying quite a few people as of late. (What annoyed me about it was the increase in mod alerts it was causing...) As I've said in the pinned thread, if you can extrapolate on WHY (see root post, actually), then it won't be acted on. But a doomed post and running is spamming.

No, it's way too late at this point. The Wii has entered the death spiral in 2009 and from there on out all that could realistically be done was to slow down the decline.

Well it was delayed by 1 year though, GTA4 was meant to kill the Wii, remember?

What is the Wii supposed to be saved from?  Is the idea that it NEVER trail the PS3 or 360 any week from this point forward?

Of course, I guess no one would click on an article suggesting what Nintendo can do better... NOOO, what is needed is that the Wii be DOMED!
