Forums - Nintendo Discussion - 5 Reasons Why Nintendo Is Doomed

"Nintendo's 3DS doesn't stand a chance."

1. It's too late

2. No one cares about 3D outside the multiplex

3. Toddlers are out

4. Price is too high

5. Apple owns Nintendo

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Such an effort to look for the "Why gaming journalism is broken" article.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

People are allowed opinions, you just bumped this guys opinion on the Google search engine, if you hated it you're sure showing it a lot of love. What is it they say about crap you find on the sidewalk? Oh I remember now, don't touch it or you'll get it on yourself.

Tease.

Nintendo arnt doomed, very silly. However my opinion on 3DS sales.

It won't sell more than DS.

Initial high price won't hinder sales in the long run.

3D won't be as appealing as the dual screen was.

Apple and their ever growing marketshare.

3DS not getting AS many revisions as DS, it's already smaller than a DS lite right?

All of this i'd agree with, except the effects of Apple's growing marketshare are debatable at this point. What will prove or disprove it is if combined sales of 3DS and PSP2 shrink from current DS and PSP, though i'd say that's inevitable (hard to match 200 million units or more)

Yeah, I didn't address the rest of your point, which is a valid point you made.

Just that since the opinion is based on faulty facts and misinterpretations of facts, the opininion is still shakey (like hating Harry Potter for promoting Satanism, which isn't true, so the hating is faulty).

Ugh, articles like that are just best ignored. Hell, I've probably given it more of my time than I should've just by making this post.
