How do you make this work? Do all of you list every single game you own on steam? :P

You can access your friends list and see what games people have on their wishlist. x.o Of course I don't know how to keep it a secret who purchased what for who. lol.

Ahh so you have to add the people who you are secretly buying a game to your friend list. Do people have games on their wishlists? I have 10 games now, but only because I haven't removed them yet. :P

* finding that remove-link was pretty hard, I am getting blind :D

I'm broke at the moment, but I'd be interested in participating.

Well last year SoulSamurai asked for wishlists from people, which he then PM'ed to their Secret Santas.   No game could be more than $20.  I think I happened to give my buddy three games that were on sale, and ended up totalling under $20.

I'm interested. Too late to join?

As ssj said, not at all!  I'm a bit behind on getting the official thread up, but you're several days ahead of the cutoff!

Hmm....that would make it a bit complicated, since many people who participate in the Steam Secret Santa may not even have a Wii, but it's an idea that I may try to implement next year.

I'm interested BUT I can't guarantee I can participate. If you could get back to me in a week, I'll be able to give a definite answer.

Will do!  That's several days ahead of the scheduled deadline, so no worries!

Im interested but also poor, what kind of monetary cap are we talking here?

Last year it was between $10-$20.  The Wii version is basically "whatever you feel like chipping in,"  and this year's Steam version will probably be the same, so don't worry if you're nea-broke, since it's the thought that counts (and there are are ton of awesome games on Steam that are available at any price range!).

Yeah, what is this? Even if I saw this last year, I've forgotten. I have no idea what's going on...

Essentially, you sign up to gift a game to another VGChartz member (and receive one in turn).  For example, last year I signed up and received several Steam games from one person, and in turn I gifted two Steam games to someone else.  Since Steam offers a lot of great games for a very low price, you can join in without spending a whole lot of money; some of the greatest PC games ever made are on sale at Steam for as low as $5, and it really is the thought that counts!

You can try that, or you can let your Secret Santa surprise you with a game, or you can give me a list of games that you're interested in.

I'm always up for secret santas I did both last year I'll do em again this year.

MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

I'm still probably in, just depends on if I get my new Debit card in the next couple days.

I have a bad habt of not putting stuff back in my wallet and losing it.

im in :D i know there was a post limit last year or invite only or something but i THINK im over the limit from last year but you can make the rules yourself

Don't worry, I have a lower limit than SS did; for the Wii one, it's only 100 posts, and often we let folks in with even less.  Everyone's ponied up so far.

And if you need more posts... I suggest going over to the off topic section and starting up an arguement about religion.  That's good for about 20 posts a day.

Edit: I nearly average 20 posts a day... that's just... disturbing on a huge level.  I mean... I don't spam or anything.

Quality over quantity is the rule, but it's not like the two are mutually exclusive, neh?

Well as Stalin said "Quanity has it's own Quality."
