TPS can have much better graphics than FPS due to the fact that they only need to render about 50% as much as a FPS. This image can very well be fake though as it looks a bit like Halo Reach, although i like the environments more. But if indeed the next Halo is a TPS it could very well be the best looking game on the console.

Yes.  Now I'll warn you these two vids are VERY long and VERY tech talk heavy.  Most of it was completely lost on me but her knowledge, enthusiasm and even console agnosticism was refreshingly telling:  there's more to the 360 than we know.  Hope you enjoy.

Well did you expect them to say "Yeah guys that's our Halo game and it looks good right?"

 

Not saying don't trust that dev but if it's legit by the time we start hearing more about 343's Halo... then this is a pretty big leak...

Anyway, a Mass Effect style Halo would be amazing, but I would leave that to Bioware...

What I would say is more likely is that it is an FPS, but they are just looking at character models, because that doesn't really look like a great angle to shoot from

No it does not, its obviously a Forerunner spire and seeing as Halo came first it looks 'Haloy'

Sorry, I've just played more Mass Effect, and the lighting and everything made me think of one of the towers on Eden Prime from ME 1

On the compass at the top of the screen it says "NW......N......NO".

Now I don't know much about coordinate systems in terms of navigation but shouldn't that be NE instead of NO?
