Almost two years after its launching, close sources to the company confirm that a new entry may be in development under the name of House of teh Dead: Overkill 2.

The company hasn't said anything yet, although rumours point towards a Wii and PlayStation Move version.

9 times out of 10 I'd say to hell with On-rails...but this is House of the Dead.  They franchise started out as an on-rails, so I'm alright with this.  I hope it'll be longer than the original.

I still prefer Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles.

thats right an on rials game is meant ot be cheesey and funny. This is hat makes house of the dead so attractive. A serious franchise like RE is ruined by being onrails.
