Forums - Gaming Discussion - The Official VGC Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Thread

Sounds great!

Around the Network

Let's get a discussion happening here.

What is aspect about Brotherhood that you're most excited about?

I personally love the fact that it's a direct sequel to AC II and focuses on Ezio and the new gameplay mechanics in Brotherhood are very welcoming.

AC as a franchise is very excited for me , many new ideas in the gameplay , I like that " hide and seek " feel of it , let alone that they were speaking Arabic language in the first one which felt strange ' in a good way' cause I've never heard my main language in a game before XD.

As for Brotherhood , I'm really excited about the multi-player more than anything , but I'm sure Ubisoft will add many good things to the gameplay to keep it fresh . I hope they enhance the graphics to reach the first AC level at least ,cause ACII was a step backward graphically .

Mi chiamo Ezio Auditore Da Firenze. Sono un assassino.

Non dimenticate: nulle è reale. Tutto è lecito.

I can't wait, especially now that LBP2's been delayed to next year. I just got my beta code from Play.

Fun fact:

Did you know the translation to "requiescat in pace" which Ezio says after each target kill is "You just got pwned" in Italian?

What Multiplayer Character are you looking forward to using Online?

I can't wait to play as the Doctor and the Courtesian. The syringe the doctor uses and the way he just stabs his target is just lol and the Courtesian's fans are bloody awesome!

Sweet! The confirmation of present day sequences has put this at the top of my radar.

Yes, after fighting the Pope you meet Minerva.

Cool beans. Is the DLC vital to the story or am I good having stopped there?

The DLC isn't vital because they're simply two extra memory sequences before the final sequence. So basically there aren't DLC that take place after the ending of ACII and instead are just like extra missions before the last mission and as a result you don't miss out on anything big related to the story.

On top of this, neither DLC is anywhere near as enjoyable as the main game, and as I noticed when I did some research, the events in Bonfire of the Vanities actually took place 300 years before Ezio was born. Battle of Forlì is pretty decent, and it introduces Sforza and Machiavelli in a bit more detail, but it's certainly not essential. Bonfire of the Vanities is completely useless.

Surely there couldn't be only myself and Arcane_chaos playing the ACB Beta from VGC...

Come on people, share us your thoughts so far.

@Arcane_chaos Really? Is it laggy for you? I haven't experienced a bit of lag during my 2Hr play today although It did freeze once. But other than everything is really smooth.
