A new scan from this week's Famitsu magazine reveals the Monster Hunter Portable 3rd release date. As you see the scanned image below, the game will be released on December, 1st in Japan.

Excellent counter for PSP against the upcoming DS/3DS push from Ninty. Hopefully they put a PSP pricecut just on launch!

Is it reasonable to say that MHP3 is the 2nd biggest game releasing this year for Japan?

Awesome. I still haven't decided whether to buy this or the Wii verson. This version doesn't have Online and is lacking 1/3 of the content/areas, but I really like portable MH. Maybe I'll buy both.

This year the biggest "game" releasing in Japan is Pokemon Black/White.

I can't think of anything else that will top MHP3 though.

well considering pokemon black is one game, and pokemon white is another game..

Woot!!!! day one when it comes stateside! cant wait for one on the hd consoles, playing online with my friends would be a blast. i tried the wii hated it till i got the classic controller then it was allright, i didnt like the online setup tho, would rather have a p2p system and just invite my friends.

Famitsu confirms Monster Hunter Portable 3rd as playable in Capcom's booth at the Tokyo Game Show.

Outside of this and the 12/1 date, Famitsu also introduces a new rabbit-like monster which is apparently capable of gliding across ice. The creature's name is "白兎獣ウルクスス" ... maybe "White Rabbit Beast Urukususu."

Why does Pokemon release 2 different games at a time? (besides the fact that they can sell twice as many games) What is the difference between black and white?
