MOVE will be more accurate than Natal, and most definitely have better games but im gonna predict that it will end up like Eyetoy and Sixaxis, just another addon.

i love posts like this, everytime proven wrong again and again and they keep coming.

whats wrong about it?

move supports hardcore kinect doesnt.

and by reading the previews in terms of accuracy move>kinect.

Indeed when it comes to accuracy it seems to be Move>Wiimote(motionplus)>Kinect. And hounestly i wouldn't be suprised if Microsoft desides to add some kind of remote to Kinect later on, a buttonless controll system is just to limited. All it's really good for is dancing games, fitness games, some crazy party games and maybe some fighting games, but really that's it.

I think it is funny how Sony fans made fun of the Wii remote earlier for seeming goofy; especially when the Sony controller has a big pastel coloured ball on the end of it; it looks like a Sailor Moon baton.

Uhm.. did you ever consider that those "Sony fans" who made fun of the Wiimote aren't interested in the Move either? I'm not sure why you feel the need to project the behavior of some of them onto all of them (as console owner/fan groups usually are quite varied), but I don't like that kind of generalizing.

I personally always thought the Wiimote was a good idea although the games didn't really manage to convince me that it's technology is mature enough for my taste, but seeing that I only need to spend 40€ to get a chance to have similar experience on the PS3, which I chose as my console for this generation because of it's game library, I'll try/buy it.

I agree with you that move will fail, but I think your reasons are slightly wrong.

I actually love that they're making core games like Killzone 3, GT5 and Socom 4 move compatible because that might sway hardcore guys to get the move. If the only games on move were shitty party games and lousy sports games then who would buy it?

Anyways the reason I think Move will fail is because its expensive and its late in the gen to introduce something like this, where as the Wiimote has been there since the beginning. If you buy each part for move separately I think its like $60 for move, $20 for the "Sony nunchuk (whatever they called it)" and you need the Eyetoy which I have no idea what that costs. Once you buy all that shit its almost as much as Kintect which is also way overpriced (but that's for a whole other thread).

You say that now; but what I am saying is very apparent with users on the largest gaming websites: Gamespot, IGN, Gametrailers, as well as the pro-Sony press, and Sony Computer Entertainment's own president Kaz Hirai.

What I find funny is that these people were all calling the Wii Remote goofy, and that people shouldn't be moving around when playing videogames; and then they came out with a much goofier controller, and it's suddenly alright.

By the way, you might be a little disappointed, but the Sony Move actually costs $100 for the starter kit (rather than $40),  $30 for the nun-chuck, and $50 for each additional controller. It will only work with games specifically created for the add-on.

In the end the Sony Move is just a "Me Too" add-on for the PS3. No matter how nice you want to spin it, it's still an imitation controller of Nintendo's Wii Remote; which came out 4 years ago.

That's my point, that's what's funny; how it DID matter to PS fans when Nintendo was the only one who had such a controller; somehow it doesn't matter to them anymore, now that Sony has a far goofier one available; the lights even flash on it.
