Placement seems odd indeed.

Xbox Live higher than the entire Wii/DS consoles even though PC had online communities long before Xbox live?

Yes PC had online far before Xbox/360 you could use the same logic with video games in general PC had them far before Nintendo or Sega does that mean Nintendo or Sega was not influential in the console industry?  it cannot be denied that Microsoft revolutionized it for consoles, it is the basis for PSN, part of the reason console gamers are now so crazy about online and asking the question "Does it have co-op" everytime a game is announced is because of Microsoft, and it also boosted the sales of console games, Multiplayer console games sell millions in mere weeks now occasionaly, they successfully created the first indepth console network with indie games, downloadable content, downloadable games, Add on content, Demos and every other feature Xbox live has, its possible if not for Xbox live we would still be getting demo disc from Magazines.

But that doesn't makt it distinct from online as a milestone, just that it did it best.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

What exactly are mature games?

In this context, I'm guessing it's a way to try to pretend games are art, so they can justify spending hours cutting up zombies or giants.

Mature games and XBL are my only "say what!?"'s.

fo sho, especially with them adding online play as a seperate thing, that EASILY could have been saving games.

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?

If Mature Games are #10  I really think that Immature Games should be in the top three.

I mean where would the whole industry be without those kiddy games we used to play before we could use Pumpguns & Chainsaws!?

Can anyone help me with this problem?  I am doing a presentation on the history of video gaming and that vid will now be featuring in it!  However, i would like to end it on facts and figures of recent games.  I am looking for facts and figures about the following games:

Batman Arkham Asylum
Res Evil 5
Killzone
Assassins Creed 2

Left 4 Dead 2

Things like:

Cost to make, marketing/advertising, how many sold and how much profilt the game made.

I have trawled google, and although i get a lot of info, none of it tells me figures.

Can anyone help?

Thanks all!

An industry where most of the gamers the likes that VGC has wouldn't be apart of.....

Edit: oh...and many more. 60,000 ain't that much lol

It revolutionized it for consoles, but that does not make it a milestone in GAMING. The PC has had multiplayer online for over a decade before LIVE was even conceived on a drawing board. Also everything that you ranted off also was done on the PC for decades before it was done on LIVE.

pretty solid list though it completely crossed my mind about saving until reading some posts, like what SmokedHostage, I would've replaced mature games with saving
