There's somewhat of a resemblence, but really nothing in that trailer was as dark as Demon's Souls when I played it so if that's the only resemblence it's rather weak.  Most of the time when I played Demon's Souls I was scared to move forward quickly because I couldn't see crap 10 feet away.  This is a bit dark but it's not like Demon's Souls was the first ever dark game so just being a bit dark doesn't instantly remind me of Demon's Souls

How many Role-Playing games have that same setting? :p

@ Torillian: Bah, does it really matter if people compare the two, even for "weak" reasons? You seem to want to defend something... I don't really get it. I'm not saying it looks similar in a bad way, and in my opinion that means Demon's Souls left a mark in my gamer life.

Don't see how thinking they're different is me defending anything, it has nothing to do with how much you loved Demon's Souls or not.  And of course it doesn't matter, I just wanted to discuss it because I was curious and luckily this is a forum so I could satisfy my curiosity.
