You do NOT lie in a title. "Nintendo's New Super Mario Bros. Wii has sold 15 million copies in record time. How big can it get?" that's a lie.

It's incorrect, whatever silly barriers you put in place. It's incorrect reporting.

A record necessitates that it is unprecedented.

MW2 did it before.

Therefore, it is not a record.

There is no specification.

It's left vague.

You can't put specifications that aren't there.

Yes, it is a record for exclusive games, but MW2 beat NSMBWii so much it's not even funny.

It may been implied with the context of the article, but that simple statement is not true.

Will be funny when NSMB outsells all MW2 versions combined. Then all 7 pages of this thread will be made irrelevant.

Then maybe we'll have some one make a thread about how it doesn't matter, because MW2 sold 15m in a shorter period of time across 2-3 platforms while a game on a single platform outsold it overall.



Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:


If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

I wouldn't be so sure about NSMBWii outselling MW2.
