What type of Guild. Guildleve type guilds? or player based Guilds. Those are called "Companies."

Also it has been stated that PvP is in the works. But just as FFXI the game is 99% PvE based.

And thank SE for that. While i do like PvP at times im thankful FF14 is PvE focused. I can just do my thing without being harassed.

I always hated looking over my shoulder all the time in other MMOs. Even when I did chances are that someone came and killed me for fun anyways.
