What was Patapon 3 announced for?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Not bad but I still think Nintendo took it this year.

Very excited for Twisted Metal though!!

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Nintendo won by a long margin hands down followed by Sony imo.

- No Agent- No Resistence 3- No Last Guardian- No Team ICO Collection- No PSP2- No FF13 Verses

Now spin your way out of that. Only one new core game (Twisted metal). But remember MS had one too (Kingdoms).

According to  VG247's sources the Team ICO Collection will be announced tonight.

REDEMPTION!

*wipes tears from eyes, puts shotgun away*

Now don't screw this up for me, you corporate bastards.

So I just caught up after having to goto work, sighhhhhh...... Nintendo >>>>>> (Sony=MS) this year..... that's my take anyways.

Great conference so many games i want now!! for the PSP, maybe move and the PS3

I Hate the fact that all these pillows are contaminated by retard!!

Are people actually comparing this conference to Nintendo's?  Nintendo's was pitch perfect, exactly calculated to make everyone love them without reservation, and possibly the greatest of all time when you take both content and presentation into account (or at least it made me feel that way).

Sony's was good, but not exactly solid -- there were a lot of holes, despite all the good stuff.  And I'm not just saying that because not showing The Last Guardian caused me to declare Guerilla Games and their endless gameplay demo my new mortal enemy.  Half the people on the net are shocked that they didn't talk about half of their supposed lineup -- Team Ico, FF, Agent, Motorstorm, Resistance? (has it been cancelled?)

I do think that the Sony conference was worlds better than MS, and possibly even better than their conference last year -- the difference was, expectations were higher thsi year, expectations they set for themselves and since have seemed to forget about.

I thought the Kevin Butler stuff went off surprisingly well, though.

If Nintendo's conference had been as tame as in some past years, Sony's probably would have seemed like the most fun conference by far, thanks to all that playing around and the surprises.  Unfortunately for them, Miyamoto teleported in off a TV screen and Iwata told us about the sapphire wonders of a device that will probably be the most successful game system of all time.

I think you lot saying nintendo's was the best have lost it.  I guess it's all just personal opinion with regards to games, but on a presentation level the fact that sony could properly demonstrate move, live, while nintendo failed and microsoft's kinect i'm pretty sure wasn't live demo's speaks volumes to me.

Honestly move is looking like the best of the motion controls by far after this.

Oh and comeon surely im not the only one who thought microsoft's presentors were wayyyy to camp and nintendo wasn't much better.

Good on sony for gettin up there and just talking to us like we are normal people and not having silly gimicks.

Dude, with all due respect.. Are you nuts??

Zelda Skyward Sword reveal and footage with 1:1 motion, Golden Sun DS, Goldeneye Remake, DQIX, a brand new Donkey Kong Country from Retro, Kirby, Epic Mickey Footage, Mario Sports Mix, plus the reveal of the new handheld 3DS, 3D movies and pictures, Kid Icarus, with tons of other announced games like Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Sonic, MGS, Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts, Paper Mario, Assassin's Creed, and many others.

This may very well have been one of E3's best conferences EVER.

Sony meanwhile had let's see.. Twisted Metal and Portal 2. And a bunch of Wii immitators.

This guy is living proof that no matter what Nintendo does, some people will never be pleased. But I guess that's true with anything.

Of course all this praising of Zelda:  Skyward Sword isn't really looking at the logistics of the game and how it will play.

You're not going to be able to make all those sword, shield, and other motions while sitting back in your easy chair, and do you really want to be standing up swinging your arms around for 40 hours of a long action adventure puzzle game?

Sony showed very few Nintendo imitators.  That was Microsoft.  And let's see the Wii imitate Killzone 3?  Heck, let's see it do it pixel for pixel.  Only problem with that is Wii can't.

I may be a nerd, but I'm not an atrophied cripple.  Zelda looks stunning and the implementation makes sense and honestly doesn't seem all that different from what Sony's doing with that Sorcery game.  Hands on impressions for Zelda are great as well, there's reason to be hyped.

And really, outside the brief Zelda interference flub, the Nintendo conference was excellently measured, timed and planned.  They really went from strength to strength to strength.  I don't think it's near as slick as Microsft's flawless E3 conference last year, but for Nintendo, it was quite literally beyond expectations.  And frankly, it kicked the shit out of Sony's boring, stilted presentation this year... I honestly think Sony did themselves something of disservice with all the montages and trying to cram in as much content as possible (yet still missing TLG somehow?).

It doesn't take an atrophied cripple to get tired after an hour or two of flailing their arms and standing.  Not to mention unless they've cut out some of the depth that is in most of the Zelda games, then there will be much backtracking to solve all the puzzles and collect all the collectables.

There's no way that a person could make themselves as comfortable playing this game as they could a Zelda game on NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, GB, GBA, or DS.

Also, what's up with two 2d platformers?  Just trying to cash in on the success of NSMBWii, at least one of those games should have been a retooling of the series on the magnitude of the Mario Galaxy games.

Actually, I find the dual handed wiimote nunchuck far more comfortable than any traditional controller.  Not holding your arms together, and letting them rest at their natural distance is inherently more comfortable, and I'd honestly even prefer it traditional controllers adopted a similar "break apart" setup.  As far as motions, I played through 50 hours plus each of Twilight Princess and Okami just fine recently, I doubt a more precise version of that is really going to do anyone in.  And I haven't been to the gym literally in years.  Basic arm strength will get you through this.

And I'd love it if Nintendo became the new home for 2D platformers.  Love it.  They've already given us 3 greats on Wii in the past 2 years (Wario Land Shake, NSMB Wii, DK Jungle Beat) and adding 2 more AAA titles to that list is hardly a negative.  Especially contrasted against the endless shooter sameyness at literally every other conference so far this E3...

Other than that I think they had the best one, (aside from Wii Party and Just Dance 2)

Edit: That's before the item showing, anyone have a link after?
