My girlfriend watched the conference with me and wants Kinect.  I think it's going to be extremely popular this X'mas.

oh, and the free 360s were pretty desperate. Although I wouldn't mind a free 360 ;)

I found it very hard to actually pay attention... it was just so boring.  I mostly blame the awful speakers.  Even poor announcements can be more hyped if they have good speakers and environment...

The XBox 360 remodel looks interesting, but it appears its only purpose is to create new interest in the system, since it doesn't look any smaller or cheaper to make.

I think Microsoft will trail in last this year... but Nintendo and Sony haven't gone yet, so it's still too soon to say.

So, a slim 360 @ the same price ??? they outdid Sony on this,

No new games (except for the cytek thing), 1 hours of Kinect casual things, i think that due to the outrage to the 189 $ price, they removed the price from the conference.

Honestly worst 2 hours conference ever, even worse than the sony 2006 one,

AND no SE Megaton either :)

It was nice to see built in wifi on the new 360 although the dual game bundled elite is probably a better deal right now. 

So....that was Ok.

The best Kinect presentation imo was Ubisoft's Your Shape. I thought it looked really good (though I'll never use it, I didn't buy WiiFit either).
