Forums - Gaming Discussion - Why are some Nintendo fans angry with Move?

You are absolutely right. Despite launching in 2006, the Wii wasn't even conceived of in 2004. In fact, the entire Wii project was just scrapped together at lunch the Tuesday before its unveiling at E3 '06.

Also, you can use periods within the body of a paragraph as well. Like I just did there.
-'But this is the internet, don't pick on my grammar.'
I'm really tired of that shit. Is it really that difficult to hit a button every once in a while? Or, -gasp!- hold down a second button to make a capital letter?
If you want your argument to be seen as coherent, rational, and thought-out, then present it in such a way.

You know there is a quote button please use it if you wish me to take you seriously.

Seriously I could not be bothered with grammar and punctuation, as much as nintendo fans cannot be bothered to make an effort with research before crying copy. Then they post several images of ps move and wimmote and the power glove as well to back up thier claims, despite the fact that the eyetoy was the first sucessful motion control based device selling 10m, everything before that failed miserably.

Happy?

I didn't bother to quote you because I was replying in mid-thread to another discussion you were having. I didn't want to bother with erasing everything that wasn't pertinent to my point. Besides, I guessed that it was only a matter of time before you revisited this thread, and you would read my post eventually. I was correct in my assumption.

The whining and crying goes both ways, and neither side is justified. I'm glad to see you were more liberal in your use of periods this time.

because Ninty fans (the ones that are indeed angry) are so deeply hurt by some words, some people said and project it onto a company, it's console and it's fans

or at least that is the reason many of them suggested in this thread - I think that may just be their justification for being bothered by it without really knowing why they are (things like that happen, even to me)

Wii-mote camera works like a light gun and uses motion sensors for hand tracking.
Move uses the camera to track the hand  which works like a 3D mouse (the most famous hand tracking device).
If you like to aim your controller like a gun in FPS then Wii-mote has the clear advantage.
If you aim by tracking your hand then Move has the advantage.
If you like waving your hands in the air like an idiot then clearly Natal is for you.

This is an easy one which includes more than just Sony fans. Wii success can mean in some cases (not all) more "dumb" down games. For example; There is no doubt Wii success had an huge impact of how the game Spores finally turned out. Spores was nothing like what the game start out as. Some neat ideas got dump just to make the game more accessable.

Matter of fact Spores didn't even came out on wii, it came out spore heroes, which is a totally different game than spores on PC, not just a conversion.

In case you haven't notice consoles (not just Wii) have made a big impact on PC games in recent years.

I'm not angry with it. Just mainly dissappointed in it. Nintendo just isn't appealing to my taste in games anymore. They are focusing on family games which I will never play.

Hopefully Metroid Other M, Xenoblade, and The Last Story can remedy the situation.

That's true so what's your point?
