Why wouldn't Symphony of the Night not be considered a platformer?  It's the very definition of the genre that started way back when on the nes.

The fact that I forgot about those two makes me ashamed to say I like platformers.  Are they on PSN?

Medievil the first is on the network, so is its PSP remake which I suggest everyone with a PSP gets.  The second one hasn't been released yet.  And unfortunately none of the Tomba games have made their way to the networks yet.

I played Rayman 1 and 2 on my PC, but I really liked them both (Rayman 2 is my favorite platformer), do they count for me as part of my list?

If so than it's:

1. Rayman 2: The Great Escape (A FANTASTIC game that every single person on the planet should play)

I totally forgot this one. BY far my favourite game in psx and second favourite (after heores of might and magic) of all time. Does anyone know if its sales were at least decent? I wish I could play TOMBA 1+2 again...

6- Rayman 2: The Great Escape

 

7- Spyro: Year of the Dragon

8- Gex: Enter the Gecko

9- Croc: Legend of the Gobbos

10- Jersey Devil

SUPER MARIO 64

nah just jokin I'd say gex and raymen 2 but I played them on the 64
so I guess that doesnt count

ps1 only Id say tomb raider one of the most impressive game on the system
when it came out

Spyro the Dragon was the SHIZ!

Crash was awesome as well. A damn shame that both series went into the shitter when they left their owners.

lol I was wandering the same thing, if yes than symphony of the night all the way. Must have at least 6 completed games. With richter, axearmor and even maria on the PSP version.
