Why wouldn't Symphony of the Night not be considered a platformer?  It's the very definition of the genre that started way back when on the nes.

The fact that I forgot about those two makes me ashamed to say I like platformers.  Are they on PSN?

Medievil the first is on the network, so is its PSP remake which I suggest everyone with a PSP gets.  The second one hasn't been released yet.  And unfortunately none of the Tomba games have made their way to the networks yet.
