Well perhaps I misjudged you cmeese47 and overreacted to what I perceived as the usual anti-360 bias and condescension. Your expertise in JRPG's will no doubt be of more use to the OP than my limited experience so I'll leave you to it. I hope the new owner will be pleasantly surprised at the guality and range of titles the 360 has to offer. Sorry about that whole Captain Trollhammer thing. A pc tag might prevent a similar misunderstanding. I expect that attitude from pc gamers.
The psone? Really, I hear it was great. Over and over and over. I'll just take your word for it I guess. It's not like you are biased or jaded by your vast experiences and incapable of appreciating the benefits of HD games.
Oh and saying that all but three rpgs on 360 were very mediocre and repeating the tired old 'shooterbox' myth is both deliberate misinformation and most definitely trolling. Perhaps you could go stick something in your PSOne just to see how it holds up to your fond, fading memories.
JFYI you do understand that the concept of mediocre is based on the median or average and that there can not be a 'very' medium game? It's a contradiction in terms obviously. If 5 is the median value on a scale to 10 for example then any value over 5 can not be technically called mediocre. Oh, and this is just nitpicking I know but pails carry things like manure while the term you were looking for was pale as in faded like your memories of the hundreds of AAA games you played in those golden days of old. You did manage to use plethora in a proper context and I'm sure some people were very impressed. Was I sounding a bit condescending there? Again, my apologies! I know just how annoying that can be.
