But seriously, they better make another one and in good timing. I can not go 10 years without a Halo game. Nor do I want it made by someone that isn't them. Hopefully MS, Activision, and Bungie will be able to work something out there. I mean they all like money so this should be a no brainer haha.

i wonder when MS hires the new studio to make the Halo games will it be as good as what Bungie has done? If not there will be only 1 other franchise that makes me keep my xbox360 and that is Gears of War series......

Bungie won't be making Halo, but you can bet the Gross Nation Product of the United States Microsoft will be getting someone else to. Just like Activision is pumping out three more Call of Duty games after dropping Infinity Ward.

Well, they certainly can't make a multiplat Halo game (Microsoft still owns the rights) and making an exclusive 360 game at the moment would be a little counterproductive now that they've gone to all this trouble to secure a multiplatform publisher. So, I believe them.

Well, they said so, but company executives aren't exactly 100% truthful.

They now have a proper justification for not making Halo games, so they're re-affirming the fact (which was, apparently, indeed, a fact).
