A great game, but I've already played through it completely twice, and I'm not playing it again unless you give me the ability to poop gold or something like that.

I suppose I can't begrudge you if you've already played it twice.

Did you do a low Chaos Frame run?

Yes.  Very low.

Is that a good or bad thing?

Also, forgot to mention that this is my high Chaos Frame run. I'm also gonna try to pick up cool people like Aisha, Saradin, Debonair, and, ultimately, Destin - though I have no idea how to do all this.

If you don't have this -- get it.

I am not getting it -- because I got it when it came out for the N64 and spent 70-plus hours playing it.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Me too.  But I double-dipped anyways.

I knew the asterisk in the title would be for me, but does that also mean that Earthbound sucks hard?

No, it just means I don't think you would like it.

As an owner of a mint condition copy of OB64 for the N64, I approve of this thread.

The game was criminally under-purchased when it came out. I waited years for it, and it was worth it.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

It just means you got some characters while missing out on others, and certain missions were very different, and the tone of the whole story was likely very different. A High Chaos Frame playthrough would be a whole new experience!

I mean, if you wanted to.

I'm just not a big fan of Tactical RPGs. And I got very annoyed with the story presentation and AI in Final Fantasy Tactics, which was made by the same people, so its not like I'm jumping up and down to play this.

Sorry.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Sorry.

The Tactics series and the Ogre Battle series could not be much more different. More, Ogre Battle isn't directly comparable to any other SRPG.

This video is awful and it's one of the very early non-exciting levels and the game's speed is turned way down for some reason, but here, look:

See? Not your typical SRPG at all.
